For those of you who use a laptop would have experienced times when your important gadget is a sound that is loud and excessive heat. One of the causes of the problem lies in the cooling fan is working non-stop and spin in high speed.
If you ever open a desktop computer, you probably already know how much dust can be sucked into it. Laptops although seems so closed, as well as easily accessible dust. Dust continues to accumulate before eventually clog the cooling fan and other parts around it, which makes the fan is spinning, producing a loud noise and heat. If you already like, the laptop stayed only measure time to start overheating and could freeze at any time.
Fortunately, the way is very easy to fix. Rick Broida, PC World blogger explains how. All you need is a small screwdriver and a compressor.
Steps:
- Turn off the laptop, unplug the AC adapter, too. Invert and remove the laptop battery. Find air vents located at the outer edge of the laptop. Remove the existing panel cover near vents in place with a screwdriver. You will see the coolant fan.
- It’s time to get rid of the dust-dust. We recommend doing this outdoors. Blow up the cooling fan with air compressor with low pressure. Navigate to all parts of the fan especially the part which faces the air vents. Make sure the wind was blowing low pressure so as not to damage the fan and other parts.
- After that reinstall the panels along with the bolt with a screwdriver. Then is the last pair of batteries.
The result after you turn it on again, your laptop will be very quiet as it should. If your laptop is already in use for more than a year, it’s time you do the clean up like this.
